Shake it till you make it....

Hey everyone I am so exhausted. I have been on a workout frenzy. I have set myself up for a challenge and I am determined to complete it. I set this blog up as a fun way to show off some of my craftiness but I feel more compelled about writing about my weight loss. I feel like I'm in the "ZONE" as of right now and need to keep myself motivated and ready for action. It has been easier to work out since I am on a summer break and have a little more time on my hands. I am instructing a workout class and regime to my weekly routine. I have discovered since the continual workouts I have been more motivated and vibrant during the day. I get a lot more accomplished!  I teach a workout class using Zumba dance routines on Saturday Mornings and then I work out about 2 more times a week with a girl friend of mine. So I work out steadily about 3 times a week consistently this past month. Well I kicked it up a notch and have incorporated a Thursday evening class (in which I instruct) so now I am up to 4 days a week. You can say I got my MO JO back and feeling pretty good about my work outs. I had to stop weighing myself everyday because I feel discouraged if the scale isn't as nice to me as I'd like. :) I chose a Friday as my weigh in day and so far over the past month I have lost 2 lbs or a little over. Since the first week of June I am down 7.8 lbs! YA BABY! I have my weigh in day tomorrow so I hope I get to see more of a result considering I incorporated an extra day this week. we'll see. Zumba has worked wonders for me and I actually get some of my moves off of the Internet. Some of the movements are sensual so I have added more realistic moves for my body type. I have fallen in love with this group that I stumbled upon called "The Hot Z team" They use Christian music in their routines. Since my class is located on a church campus and I am a christian, I felt this is something I had to do! It works out great and We all have a fun time doing it together! I hope to have good news tomorrow about more of a weight loss. We'll see! Cross your fingers. ~ Joy
